What is Moyes doing better than Bilic?

I think most of us realised that Bilic had to go.

But surely when you make a change, you are surely expecting to find someone who can do something - anything- better than what you had before.

I can't for the life of me see what the improvement has been. You can show me all the training videos you want, and write as many articles as you want about how Moyes and co are shouting at the players more and so on, but on the pitch can anyone say what has changed?

Yes, we looked up for it against Leicester on way to what looks like 1 point from 3 games, but we looked up for it now and then under Bilic too when it was a 'big game' for one reason or another.

I accept there is an element of 'work in progress', but what progress are we seeing?

I'm not trying to rewrite history and make Bilic out to have been Brian Clough. But for the payoff to him and his staff, plus what it has cost to bring in Moues and his, what is better? What could possibly have been worse?

I see people now saying it's the players and not the manager. That's a very convenient excuse when the manager was given none of the benefit of the doubt recently.

Whet do you or can you expect with the some shower of sh*t he inherited off of Bilic. Lets hope the board (I blame them) can correct the mistakes this January window. Merrry Xmas

I don't see this at all. He doesn't look to me to be working anything like as hard as he used to. Can't remember which game Gary Neville was commenting on when Sakho came on as sub but he said of him at the end of the game "he hasn't tried a leg". And he was right, for me.

This, on the other hand, is 100% right and somewhat worrying.

He's changed nothing, he won't make any bloody difference in 6 months except to make it worse. The cancer was the stupid yearly deals and the big rises to the players that undermined Bilic. So they give a 6 month contract with the same poisonous squad to a manager with less ability.

The only hope now is a run of form but short of cloning Pearce and having him train 1 to 1 on each player i can't see them turning it around. There's no leadership, no guts and no stamina. If there is a run of form it'll be in spite of Moyes no because.

I'd never have gone for him, but he's here now and it ain't gonna change.

What is worrying is that if he'd watched our games, he would know that Ayew cannot play up front on his own. I don't think it's ever worked. Surely the first thing he should have done is sit through videos of every minute of every game ?

West ham have been allowed to mope through games for over two seasons that is why Moyes is facing such a difficult task, Our Chairmen are truly lost they have allowed this to fester and set into the bones of the club like a terrible wasting disease, they should have amputated the source long ago but did not, add to that they with Bilic have brought in some utterly useless players who are simply not that good or can only play in good teams which West ham are not.

Comma you can have all the energy in the world but if your back four cant play in a line, and your holding midfield is about 10 yards in front of them you will get murdered.

If you saw those goals last night like I did then they looked like they were conceded by an under 10's 5 aside team.
Moyes is not a fucking magician when his defensive players are constantly mugged off easily or wrong sided what can Moyes do?.
The players look as if they have just got out of bed and been given a double whiskey, they are all over the place defensively, and so obviously not in their correct positions when defending.

Goose, it’s been plain to see that unlike WHU teams like Palace, Leicester, Swansea etc have demonstrated energy and commitment. Our problem has been obvious and spoken about by us and the pundits.

And now Moyes is struggling to improve the situation. Don’t understand starting Ayew as the focal point over Sakho at all though.

We got Moyes, if you believe the press, because 3 decent managers turned the job down. I believe Bilic was 6th choice when he was appointed, seems that decent managers do not want to work for West Ham United.
